Speedwell offers a broad range of beers in order to cater for various
customer tastes with each product being served in its own unique way.
The Speedwell has been acclaimed for the excellence of its draught beers
(CAMRA). Guest ales from across the UK rotate periodically whilst strong lager-style beers are sourced from
around Europe which are all poured with great care by the bar's friendly staff. |

The Speedwell offers an extensive range of draught beers with five lagers (Stella Artois, Budweiser, Tennents, Carlsberg and Pilsner Urquell) and we also have a minimum of two guest cask conditioned beers available at any one time. Also on draught are McEwans 80/- (ordinary or extra cold), Belhaven Best, Guinness (ordinary or extra cold) and the draught German wheat beer Erdinger. At The Speedwell we believe that it is not enough simply to have an extensive range of products on offer – the whole process, from taking care of the product when it arrives on the premises - selecting a glass (All products are served in their appropriate branded glass) - pouring the selected product - delivering it to the customer are all vital factors in producing the perfect pint! Why not treat yourself to one of our guest bottled Beers. We currently offer Chimay Red, Duvel, Brooklyn, Frambozen and Heineken (imported from Holland). |
